Frank "Grandpa" Little Axe, 99, passed Sunday, April 16, in Norman. Lifelong Little Axe resident.
Married Edna Little Charley in Little Axe.
Worked for The University of Oklahoma for 26 years and retired from The University of Oklahoma golf course in 1972. He was also a farmer.
Mr. Little Axe was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church, where he mowed the lawn and did maintenance until he was 97.
Grandpa enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, golfing, exercising, lifting weights, riding his tractor and watching OU football and basketball games. He also enjoyed watching bull riding and western movies.
He was preceded in death by his wife on May 5, 1965; his parents; and one daughter, Aileen Ellis.
